Elevate is excited to re-introduce our Mixed Softball League for the Winter and Spring in Campbell River. Teams consisting of 3-5 players will participate in a simulated softball league, competing against other teams at the Elevate Batting Cages in Willow Point. Games will take place on Thursday evenings (7:30 - 9:30PM), with the league running over the course of 8 weeks. Each team will play an 8 game schedule (including bye week), followed by a league playoff formatted by Elevate.
Basic Rule outline below:
Team Composition:
Each team must have a minimum of 3 players to play (1 female minimum).
Teams may call in a designated spare if a player cannot attend.
If teams cannot fill their 3-player minimum, they may bring in an external player for on game (this will result in a forfeit).
Maximum 5 players allowed per team (1 female minimum).
Game Duration:
Games are 9 innings or 60 minutes, whichever comes first.
Play 2 games each evening.
No ties — extra innings start with the bases loaded until a winner is determined.
Scoring Rule:
5-run maximum per inning (or 3 outs, whichever comes first).
When one team establishes a lead, the opposing team may score enough runs to establish a new 5-run lead. (Example: if Team A leads by 4 runs, Team B can score up to 9 runs — 4 to tie, plus 5 for the new lead.)
Final inning is an open inning.
League play begins February 13th, registrants can expect email information prior to the start of play.
